Below is a reading group enjoying a text. This is such a fun part of the Synthetic Phonics Program. We throughly discuss a book based on it's title and it's front cover illustration. We make predictions and put forward opinions and thoughts on what may happen in the text. Then we read the blurb, followed by the whole text. We then respond to comprehension questions about the text and in subsequent sessions, re read and innovate on the text.
