Speed, fun and a positive attitude were the order of the day at our school Cross Country last Thursday morning. Students from Years 2-6 had been in training for the event during the preceding week, practise-running the route in class groups. The big day finally arrived and bought with it a stunning South Coast morning with perfect weather conditions. In Year 2M, we had been discussing good sportsmanship, the importance of trying our best, persistence if things get tough and generally, just having a good time in order to ready our attitudes toward the run. The students certainly put all of that into gear for the race and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! A big thank you to Mr. Enright for organising and MC'ing the event for his first time, and to our wonderful 2M parents and carers for coming along to support and cheer our class along. Go 2M!!
Below are some of the informal reflections the students wrote upon getting back to class and reliving the glory!
